i think its really important to have water in peoples lives because you don't have the energy to do things you want to. But its shocking that people in developing countrys have to walk 6km for water without geting energy from water and to carry pounds of unsafe dirty water.With water you can do thing like take a shower or do the dishesbut some people are wasting precious water that some places need water more than we do and one drop of water is a huge waste without water its like losing everything you have

It is a global issue because even though people are trying to fix this problem , many kids still DO NOT have clean water and have to travel miles for dirty water.
ReplyDeleteAlso another global issue is that Japan was hit by a tsunami and all thier clean water was polluted by the nuclear plant which had a meltdown because of the tsunami.

DeleteThe UN convetion right 32 relates to the water issues because the right says that you should be protected from work that is harmful.This relates to water issues because the people have to carry water for long distances in big barrels which isn't safe
ReplyDeleteWe think that the MDG that best relates to water issues is global partnership. We think this because water issues is more of a global issue beacause it is not really in developed countries like Canada and the USA. It also relates to global partnership because we are also (BTC) trying help the people who needs clean water.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. I think the one that best represents water issues is ending poverty and hunger because dirty water/un-clean water doesn't give your body the nutrients that it needs, therefore not filling it!!!!!!!!!
DeleteTo add to my earlier comment, it doesn't give you nutrients and it doesn't fill you so you'll starve without sufficient clean water!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteWater, just like any other substance, can be considered a poison when over-consumed in a specific period of time. Water intoxication mostly occurs when water is being consumed at a high quantity without giving the body its proper nutrients it needs to be healthy!!!!!!!
I thought it was supposed to be really good for you, no matter how much you consumed!!!!!!!!
We found info on the site plancanada.ca that on average, 50% of families in rural Bolivia don't have access to safe and clean water . In some of these communities, this can be is nearly 90% of the people there! With no clean water, children and their families are at risk of disease and death. In some parts of the world, there is such a lack of access to clean water that this is a bigger crisis than armed conflict/war,thus leading to 2.2 million deaths and over 4 billion illnesses related to water issues every year. It's great that some people share the water because they know that everybody deserve to have water as much as you do and water can lead to a lot of things that are important to survive.But some people also think that they can waste as much water as they can in the showers or on other things but they should know that people in devoloping countrys are human beings too. They have the right to drink water or use water and that some people should understand that it's important to think of that when your about to us water in anyway.

Many people, about 3.575 million people die every year do to bad water sanitation. Poor people have to pay up to 5-10 dollars more than the wealthy.

Its not great that womans and girls have to walk kilometers with big heavy loads to get dirty water for there familes i understand why they have to drink dirty water its becuase at leased they get something to drink but unsafe water can lead to a disease which can cost death. But girls have to get kicked out of school,sports or play time and family even thought they can't get that they need to do work which also leads in to death because of the unsafe envorment and the things they use or get beaten but the girls get a little amount of money and the boy get a bit more than the girls which then leads to child labour and gender and aquility

After tornado's and eathquakes hit in some places the pipes broke and all the water was gone so familys had to walk long distance to get some water even thought there were not enought for everybody and with out clean water you can get dehydrated and fainted
