Emmy- Alternative Income Program
Cecilia- Child Labour
Vincent- Water Issues
Paige- Gender Inequality
Each Write Up should follow the following outline below:
Short introduction on your issue (include the MDG and UN Right of a Child and how they relate to the issue)
Did you know?
(3-6 Key Fact or Ideas that will introduce the topic and convince others to make a change and to support this issue)
How can we help solve the problem of ________________
(1-2 Key ideas that we as a community can do to help this issue)
One way we can stop gender inequality in our community is to Spread awerness. I am sure that most grade 1-3 grade kids dont even know what gender inequality means or some facts on gender

For Poetry Night snacks i went shopping and bought 20 juice boxes(10 orange juices and 10 mixed berry juices). I also bought 2 bags of chocolate chip cookies.

From planning, to auditions to setting up and hosting the evening... all the discussions, research and writing produced an informative brochure and the speeches throughout the evening were powerful. Each of you really stepped up. I look forward to what you bring in the next initiative.
Next: writing thank you letters and creating an order form for the dvd's.
